“In 2004 I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa, a rare eye disease that starts with partial lost of vision, eventually leading to total or near total blindness.
Overtime my sight narrowed, I have to rely on my other senses and my gut.
But that didn’t stop me.
Tandem cycling is about trust. I don’t know what exactly lies ahead.
But, the more we ride together, going through obstacle together, the more confident I am. Enjoying the journey andknowing that I can find light at the end.
I am Steve, and I will never lose sight of my goal.”

“I am Steve Tee, and I am a full time Para cyclist.
My partner Kee Meng,he is my eyes.
We work together as a team. Communication is important between us.
We trust each other. I trust his judgements.
I hear everything. The air rushing pass me.
The sound of trees, the sound of people, of people cherring us on, of people supporting us.
So we pedal faster. We don’t want to disappoint.
Every second, every millisecond matters. We want to be the first to reach the finishing line.
We get to keep moving, to chase our dream.”
